Type Project(s) It has been our pleasure to serve this great local professional Equity theatre with updated and innovative content since we created the site in May, 1999. Most recently, we added the online ticketing against a MS Access database and an email newsletter that picks up email addresses from that same database. We are on their press release mail list so that we can promptly update the site without a word. We'll then refer links to the resulting new or changed pages to CSC so that they can review to be sure it meets their needs. We take pride in keeping the site timely and friendly to theatre patrons. In October 2000, CSC and New Jersey Theatre Group awarded Susan Riding their Applause Award for our work with the Web site and other fund raising activities. Theatre Online Ticketing As of November 2002, the Centenary Stage Company Online Ticketing System went live. SR Web Resources designed and coded the full application. We also designed and loaded the required MS Access database. We created the system utilizing MS Access and Active Server Pages programming. From the point of the logon, every page is dynamically created using and verifying against the current information on the database. The Event Choice page dynamically offers only events that still remain in the season. The automation provides that when it is still available, a season subscription is offered first. When the season subscription discount is no longer available, the system automatically brings up the Individual Tickets page. The system covers their Professional Equity Plays, Concert Events and Young Performers Workshop events and was built to be expandable to easily add other types of offerings in the future. The design will easily allow for the addition of fund raising items to be purchased. We asked system users for their comments on how they felt the ordering process went if they would care to take a minute to let us know. We did this so that we can measure our success in creating a helpful and easy to use ordering system. Actual comments on the ordering experience include:

As of April 2003, we sent out CSC's first permission-based email newsletter/announcement (and since have sent out several more). They go out to email addresses on the CSC database, not to a lead list. It is totally permission-based. See details on our Email Newsletters page.
